The International Conference on Automated Planning and Scheduling (ICAPS) is the result of the merging of the International Conference on AI Planning Scheduling (AIPS) and the European Conference on Planning (ECP). ICAPS 2005 is thus the fifteenth in the series, coming after six editions of AIPS and six editions of ECP. Papers in the proceedings cover the full spectrum of topics in AI planning and scheduling, presenting the last advances both theoretical and empirical in the field. This year, some emphasis lies on planning with incomplete information, and on applications of planning and scheduling.
